I leave for Dragon*Con in less than 48 hours. I have approximately 25 billion things I need to do before then. I work both today and tomorrow, so I have to shove any shopping and whatnot into my non-working hours. I have not been very good about that of late. The suitcase is still in the attic. I still have laundry to do. I don't think I have enough clothes, and I am the worst shopper there is, just ask Desi. So I am going to post a list of things and see if I am able to get them done.

- Suitcase out of attic
- Charge and pack lappy, mp3 player, batteries for both cameras, various cords and paraphernalia
- Make Wally World run and get snacks, Crystal Light drink thingies for bottled water, any medications I may have missed
- Do laundry and see if I have enough casual clothes to make it through 5 days (I swear I am still missing a clothes box from the move)
- Clean out the purse/bag of DOOOOOM

I reserve the right to add to this later, but since it is 8:20am, I know I am forgetting things.

So wish me luck, and pictures with pretty people.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a always gets put off. ;-) I know there are a million things I'm going to have to do before I leave Friday morning and I haven't done any of it either. Maybe I'll leave work early on Thursday to take care of it all.

Bought a bunch of new clothes last weekend during the back to school / summer clearance sales. Now I just have to wash it all. I hate laundry.

I don't mind laundry, now that I have a washer, but I HATEHATEHATE clothes shopping. Nothing fits, like ever. I am sorry, clothing makers, but I am not a twig. Some...things need space that is not provided in most current clothes, unless you are talking muumuus.

I am going to work early to see if I find something at Target or something like that. If not, I will be rocking the same clothes I wore last year. You think anyone will recognize my Wonder Woman shirt?

I hear you on the clothes shopping. I've been lucky enough to find a couple of stores (Eddie Bauer and Ny&Co.) where I can almost always find something I like that fits. It costs a little bit more (not always cutting edge style), but the clothes last and they fit.

I'm guessing there are things at D*Con that are much more memorable than a Wonder Woman shirt. ;-)

Eddie Bauer is long gone from here, and the NY&Co here seems to only stock shirts in XS, a size I think I passed in grade school. I will go a-hunting, though. There are a couple stores I haven't tried yet, and there is a NY&Co and an Old Navy where I work.

There certainly are things more memorable there than a ratty, overused, but much loved Wonder Woman tee.

Both the nearest of those stores for me are 3 hrs away, by my parents' place. Every time I go home I go on a shopping spree. It makes my mom think I spend to much on clothes. But literally I buy clothes like 4 times a year, except for special occasions (of which D*Con is one).

Our EB is pretty new actually. NY&Co stopped making the jeans I like (and I haven't tried their new ones yet) but I can usually fit into their L or XL shirts depending on style. I've also found that JC Penny usually has real people sized clothing. I've never had an Old Navy near by, but I generally don't fit GAP clothes and they're the same company.
